Revising process for white noise!

My writing process is pretty simply I like to brake everything down into sections and then place them in an order I find fit for my paper. Im not the best at revising simple because i don't do it a lot. I have a tendency to wait to get things done or if i do get them done early I forget about them until it is time to turn them in. when I do tend to do it sometimes I make my paper worse by thinking I need to add more or take things away or change the wording and I end up just messing up the paper. 
With the novel White Noise I had a hard time just getting started with my writing process. I felt like the first half of the book really jumps around in the different points it makes which made it harder for me to find a steady path for my writing. Once I got past that and the plot started to make more sense it was a little easier to write about. I was not necessarily a fan of this book which did not help my writing process either but oh well. I did not really have time to revise my paper this time because I didn't write it within a timely manner unfortunately but in hoping for the best. =]
